CRICKET CLUB BOWLED OVER BY £1,000 JCB DONATION

Blythe Cricket Club Donation News

A cricket club has been bowled over by the donation of new equipment from Staffordshire-based digger maker JCB.

Blythe Cricket Club’s junior section was knocked for six when the company gave £1,000 for new training and safety equipment.

The 40-strong junior section, which plays at Cresswell Lane, Cresswell, is hoping the kit will set them up for a season of success in the South Moorlands Junior Cricket League.

JCB Senior Group Solicitor Claire Garner, who is the club’s Secretary, presented the youngsters with cricket whites which mark the proud association.
The juniors are delighted with the sponsorship; the equipment will make a world of difference to the quality of their practise and development. We cannot thank JCB enough for its support and I’m sure all the young players will do them proud this season.
