Is the electric mini digger tethered?

The 8008E and 19C-1E are completely stand alone and free of tethers to improve safety on-site and eliminate trip hazards.

Is there any extra maintenance to do on the battery?

There is no maintenance required on the battery packs at all and daily checks are reduced to a minimum; increasing time on site.

What is the battery run time on the 8008E CTS?

The JCB 8008E electric-powered excavator features 2 x 4.8 kW batteries that store enough power for 4.5 hours of continuous use. This is equivalent to a full day’s work, so you can count on this micro excavator to keep you going on any job. These two batteries are maintenance-free and come with two charging options, bringing you maximum versatility and minimum downtime.

What is the charge time on the 8008E CTS?

When charging onboard at 110V, this electric JCB excavator needs 5.5 hours to charge. And when charging onboard at 230V, the charge time is just 3 hours. (20-80% - subject to environmental conditions). To make things even easier, this micro electric excavator displays the battery charge instantly on startup, so you always know how much power you have.

What is the charge time on a 19C-1E?

The on-board charger gives a 20-80% charge time of 10.5 hours from a 110V supply or 5 hours from a 240V supply. The fast charge option has a charging time from empty of 2.5 hours from a 415V supply.

What is the run time on the 19C-1E?

The 4 battery pack will last for the equivalent to a full day's work, subject to the type of job.

What type of battery is fitted to the 8008E CTS?

Does the Pothole Pro come with dust suppression features?

Yes – the Pothole Pro from JCB features a 1200mm wide sweeper complete with dust suppression. A water tank in both the planer and the sweeper forms the dust suppression system, which limits the dust produced by the Pothole Pro. This results in safer working conditions for staff and the general public, so the JCB pothole machine  can be used in congested urban areas.
