How does the 8008E CTS perform versus the diesel 8008 CTS
The diesel and electric compact excavator share the same structure, TOPS frame, dig end, hydraulics and controls, meaning they perform in exactly the same way. The only difference is that the power pack changes from a diesel to electric, which brings you a wealth of benefits onsite – from less vibration for increased durability to reduced noise levels for greater driver comfort. There’s a lot to love about JCB E-TECH.

How much can a mini digger lift?
This again is very dependent on the model. For instance, JCB's smallest micro digger, the JCB 8008 CTS, is a powerful machine, despite its small stature, and has a bucket tearout force of 9.3kN. Additionally, the JCB 16C-1 and 18Z-1 mini excavators are also perfect machines for light excavation and material handling.
How much will a 3 tonne mini digger lift?
Part of JCB’s 3.5 tonne range, JCB’s 36C-1 has a maximum lift capacity of 2063 kg at ground level.
With a conventional tailswing for greater stability, it has an operating weight of 3,759 kg, a maximum dig depth of 3.48 m, maximum dump height of 3.53 m, and an 18.4 kW engine power.

Is it worth buying a mini digger?
The size and usability of a mini digger means they are the perfect machine for all sorts of jobs.
The smaller mini excavators in JCB’s range, like the JCB 8008 CTS micro excavator, is small enough to fit through doorways, making it a perfect machine for long-term building projects. Whereas some of the larger mini diggers in JCB’s range, like the JCB 100C-2 midi excavator, are heavy duty, reliable machines capable of moving large amounts of materials with ease.
Owning your own mini digger has many benefits when compared to hiring a mini digger. Find the right machine for you by looking at our full range of mini diggers here - you can even filter by different specifications, such as maximum dig depth, operating weight and tailswing.
