Mini Excavators

The 19C-1E electric excavator operates using a 4 battery pack which, when fully charged, will complete a full day’s work. The machine’s battery will last for 5 hours of full-time operation, which equates to a full day on site when you account for downtime.  
The on board charger gives a 20-80% charge time of 10.5 hours from a 110V supply or 5 hours from a 240V supply. The fast charge option has a charging time from empty of 2.5 hours from a 415V supply.

The diesel and electric compact excavator share the same structure, TOPS frame, dig end, hydraulics and controls, meaning they perform in exactly the same way. The only difference is that the power pack changes from a diesel to electric, which brings you a wealth of benefits onsite – from less vibration for increased durability to reduced noise levels for greater driver comfort. There’s a lot to love about JCB E-TECH.

The 8008E JCB electric excavator comes with both 110V and 230V charging cables. To charge your machine you plug the cable into the rear of the machine via the rear service door – making charging simple. If you’d like to know more about how charging works, please refer to the operator’s manual.

This varies depending on the model of mini digger within JCB’s range, JCB’s smallest mini digger the JCB 8008 CTS micro excavator has a maximum dig depth of 1.69m, whereas the largest model, the JCB 100C-2 midi excavator has a maximum dig depth of 5.09m. Part of JCB’s 3.5 tonne range, JCB’s 36C-1 has a maximum lift capacity of 2063 kg at ground level. 

With a conventional tailswing for greater stability, it has an operating weight of 3,759 kg, a maximum dig depth of 3.48 m, maximum dump height of 3.53 m, and an 18.4 kW engine power. 
For context, this makes it ideal for construction projects, ground working, and garden landscaping.

The batteries on a 19C-1E can be charged with a 110V yellow industrial socket, with the option of a 230V industrial 3 pin blue socket; specified upon time of order.

If the machine is left on, but not working, the battery will run down at a very low rate to conserve power and last 120 hours before recharging.

Even after 2000 full charges and discharge cycles (expected to be over 10 years) the batteries still have over 85% of their capacity left.

A Backhoe’s excavator arm offers a 180 degree working range from the rear of the machine. An excavator can slew 360 degrees.

The batteries cannot be easily stolen as they sit deep within the structure of the machine, it would take several hours to remove.
