What is the age restriction for our tours?

All visitors must be 15 years old or over.

How long is the tour?

The duration of JCB's Factory Tour is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes and covers nearly 3 miles therefore individuals with walking difficulties may find the tour unsuitable.

Can I bring food or drink on the tour?

No food or drink can be consumed on site unless pre-booked as part of a Tour Package.

Can I take photographs?

No photography is permitted during the factory tour, however it is permitted in the Story of JCB.

What clothes should I bring?

A short part of the tour requires guests to walk outside therefore appropriate clothing for the weather conditions should be worn.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive as per the time on your confirmation timetable, there are no waiting facilities prior to your tour.

Is GPS available from the factory?

Fully integrated JCB GPS can be ordered direct from the factory. It utilises proven NOVATEL Smart-7 receiver and a custom JCB user interface.

What is a Fastrac tractor?

Fastrac is the brand name for JCB's renowned agricultural tractor. The JCB Fastrac top speed of 70 kph on the 8000 Series makes it the world's fastest production tractor. Enduringly popular since it was first built in 1991, it's been continually developed for more than 30 years - and is trusted by farmers the world over. The JCB Fastrac is unique in the way it offers all-round advanced suspension for unrivalled comfort and improved tractive performance.

Is there a heated seat option?

Yes, but not only heated, the Fastrac now has an option for a leather trimmed, heated and ventilated seat. The three options for your seat are: cloth, heated cloth, and heated and ventilated with leather trim. All options come with a headrest and are fully suspended. Seats allow 60 degrees of rotation (50˚ right, 10˚ left).

Can I connect my phone to the tractor?

The Fastrac iCON has a DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity as standard. This can be controlled through the screen, or via dedicated hardware on the armrest.
