The company exhibited the CEV Stage 5 engines and machines which included the range of Backhoe Loaders, Telehandlers, Skid Steer Loaders, Compactors and Wheeled Loaders. These machines are poised to set a new benchmark in the construction equipment sector with 10-15% better fuel efficiency compared to their CEV Stage 4 predecessors.
JCB CEV Stage 5 machines have undergone rigorous testing processes, including over 2,00,000 hours of real-world testing and over 70,000 hours of development and endurance trials. They have been tested at altitudes as high as 4500 meters in some of the toughest terrains like Leh and Ladakh ensuring exceptional performance and reliability under the most challenging conditions.
The JCB Stage 5 Engines are equipped with Stage 5 complaint emission control technology, which includes Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The engines also have a robust fuel filtration system, with extended primary filter replacement intervals. This ensures maximum uptime for the machine without impacting user experience.
The new range of machines have also been designed with the operator safety and comfort in mind. The operator cabins are strengthened with high quality material making it Roll over Protective Structure (ROPS) compliant in line with Government safety regulations. They also offer enhanced ergonomics, reduced noise levels and simplified engine regeneration processes.
