Can someone easily steal the batteries on the 19C-1E?

The batteries cannot be easily stolen as they sit deep within the structure of the machine, it would take several hours to remove.

Do the batteries have warranty?

The JCB micro excavator powertrain batteries come with JCB’s standard 5-year warranty, which is the equivalent to 6,000 hours of power. Just like JCB equipment, these batteries are built to last.

How does the 8008E CTS perform versus the diesel 8008 CTS

The diesel and electric compact excavator share the same structure, TOPS frame, dig end, hydraulics and controls, meaning they perform in exactly the same way. The only difference is that the power pack changes from a diesel to electric, which brings you a wealth of benefits onsite – from less vibration for increased durability to reduced noise levels for greater driver comfort. There’s a lot to love about JCB E-TECH.

How long does an electric digger last?

The 19C-1E electric excavator operates using a 4 battery pack which, when fully charged, will complete a full day’s work. The machine’s battery will last for 5 hours of full-time operation, which equates to a full day on site when you account for downtime.  
The on board charger gives a 20-80% charge time of 10.5 hours from a 110V supply or 5 hours from a 240V supply. The fast charge option has a charging time from empty of 2.5 hours from a 415V supply.
