MINI ETECH 19C-1E (3x2)

Rental, the nationally recognized magazine serving rental equipment professionals, has named the JCB 19C-1 electric mini excavator as one of the Rental 2020 Editor’s Choice Award winners.

The 2020 Rental Editor’s Choice Awards represent the equipment rental industry’s best products gaining interest from end-users and rental professionals alike. Winners like JCB’s 19C-1 electric mini excavator were chosen by Rental’s editorial team based on several different factors, including innovation, utility for the rental market, as well as audience engagement (most clicks, page views, inquiries) on Rental.

The 19C-1E excavator is the world’s first volume-produced fully electric mini excavator and with it, JCB has shown it is possible to make powerful construction machinery without an internal combustion engine. Hundreds of the machines have been sold and to date they have saved the equivalent of 33,290 lbs in CO2 emissions across 5,616 hours of work.

As well as significantly reducing carbon emissions, the electric mini excavator has zero exhaust emissions and very low noise levels. This combination makes it much better suited than traditional construction equipment for operating inside buildings or in areas where noise must be kept to a minimum, for example near hospitals and schools and in cities where night shift work is often necessary.

We’re excited to announce the 2020 Editor’s Choice Award winners. As always, this year’s winning products represent the best of what leading manufacturers have to offer for today’s rental inventories. Products chosen for this award are those that are truly innovative and demonstrated proven durability. In addition, the winners are products that construction and rental professionals have shown active interest in on, so they’ll be looking for them at their preferred rental source.
