JCB announced today that its North American dealer network is expanding with the addition of Weaver JCB. A division of Weaver Ag & Lawn Equipment, Weaver JCB dealer will sell and service new and used JCB equipment from locations at 905 Nelson’s Parkway in Wakarusa, Indiana and 52345 Indiana State Route 933, South Bend, Indiana.

The JCB 18Z-1 and 19C-1 mini excavators have received a 2018 Innovative Iron Award from Compact Equipment magazine. The award recognizes that the 4,211 lb (1.9 tonne) 19C-1 conventional tailswing excavator and 3,856 lb (1.8 tonne) 18Z-1 zero tailswing excavator are “more durable, require less maintenance and are safer to use than comparable 1- to 2-ton compacts” and are “rental ready”.

JCB North America will host a JCB Manufacturing Job Fair at its headquarters at 2000 Bamford Boulevard in Pooler on Saturday, November 10, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. At the event, JCB will accept applications and conduct interviews for 40+ open manufacturing positions in its assembly, fabrication, repair, wet paint, materials and facilities departments.

JCB today announced that it will exhibit the all-new 18Z-1 compact excavator and the revolutionary 3TS-8T Teleskid compact track loader at the 2018 GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky, from October 17-19. The event will be the North American debut for the 18Z-1, one of two new JCB compact excavators launched in North America over the summer.

JCB has received an extension to its current production contract with the Department of Defense to manufacture High Mobility Engineer Excavators (HMEEs) for the United States Army. The $72.8 million deal for approximately 180 HMEEs will continue production through 2020. A new multi-year contract is expected in the future and will further HMEE production into the middle of the next decade.
