JCB GOES ON THE ROAD WITH THE WORLD’S FASTEST TRACTOR

Fastrac to Texas

The JCB 8330 Fastrac Takes Road Trip to Texas Traveling 1400 miles in 4 days at 43 mph. The JCB Fastrac’s powertrain and suspension system equip the 8330 Fastrac for exceptional control and handling.

The JCB 8330 Fastrac has recently been updated and the newest version is hitting the road, traveling to customer demonstrations in Texas from JCB North America headquarters located in Pooler, Georgia. Chris Gateley, JCB’s North America heavy line sales manager for JCB Agriculture and Daniel Willhelm, JCB’s North America heavy line sales engineer for JCB Agriculture, will drive the 8330 Fastrac, completing 1400 miles in 4 days at a speed of up to 43 mph.
Since speed is one of our biggest selling features, we thought driving the 8330 Fastrac to Texas on the open road would be an exciting way to show the machine’s capabilities as we stop at demonstrations along the way. Innovation is a hallmark of JCB, and the 8330 Fastrac is a revolutionary machine, offering the fastest and most comfortable tractor on the market, with a 330 hp engine and all-round advanced suspension similar to the Fastrac 4000 series.

The 8330 Fastrac offers new features including: upgraded front and rear axles, in combination with external anti-lock disc brakes on all four wheels, delivering an increase in GVW to 31,967 lbs. across all tire options; new engine idle speed for increased transmission control and decreased noise; very high flexion (VF) tire options for increased load capacity at a standard pressure and for improved fuel economy.

The average U.S. farm occupies 444 acres, with fields situated hundreds of miles apart. The speed of the JCB 8330 Fastrac provides farmers with the ability to move quickly between fields, for less downtime and increased profitability. Additionally, this powerful machine offers a category four draw bar fitted with a single-piece chassis for increased strength that absorbs any stressors.

JCB has set the standard for world-class innovation for more than 75 years, breaking barriers and offering more speed and efficiency than other machines on the market. Most recently, in 2019 at Elvington Airfield in England, JCB’s Fastrac broke the record as the world’s fastest tractor, with the Fastrac Two hitting a top speed of 153.771mph on its way to recording an average speed of 135.191mph.

“On the Road With the World’s Fastest Tractor” is yet another unique way for JCB to exhibit the power and durability of the company’s design features – this time for the Fastrac 8000 Series – which usher in unbeatable tractor efficiency and productivity. Follow JCB on social media the last week of September for the videos of our team’s road trip experience.
