AMERICAN-MADE JCB SKID STEER LOADERS AWARDED FOR HIGHEST RETAINED VALUE

JCB SSL US Highest Retained Value press release

JCB’s range of America-made skid steer loaders has received a 2019 EquipmentWatch Highest Retained Value Award. The award recognizes JCB machines for commanding higher resale values after five years than competing skid steers with a rated operating capacity above 1,750 lb.

Garrett Schemmel, vice president at EquipmentWatch, explained the annual awards help buyers understand the best performing machines.

“The program is also designed to recognize manufacturers for building these higher quality, durable, and cost-friendly machines that power our industry,” said Schemmel.

JCB builds skid steer and compact track loaders at its North American headquarters in Savannah, Georgia. The company offers four skid steer loader models for construction, agriculture and rental customers in the U.S. and Canada, with rated operating capacities from 2,112 lb (958 kg) to 3,296 lb (1,445 kg).

All JCB skid steer loaders feature the iconic, single-arm JCB Powerboom™ and side-door entry, which enables 60 percent better visibility and up to 46 percent more operator room than conventional twin-arm machines. Additionally, JCB skid steers in North America are equipped with 74 hp engines that comply with Tier-4 Final regulations yet require no diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) or diesel particulate filter (DPF). “JCB skid steer loaders are known for exceptional performance, reliability, safety and low operating costs,” said Ashby Graham, general manager of product for JCB North America. “This Highest Retained Value Award reinforces an important additional benefit for owners of JCB skid steers, giving them confidence their initial investment will be better preserved by higher resale values.”

JCB pioneered the single arm skid steer with side-door entry in 1993. The unique design eliminates the need for the operator to climb over (or under) dangerous attachments to enter the machine. In 2017, the company launched the 3TS-8W Teleskid, the world’s only skid steer loader with a telescopic boom, allowing it to lift higher, reach further and dig deeper than any skid steer loader on the market.
