JCB North America hosted an Academy Award style ceremony to acknowledge employees who have contributed to the ongoing success of the company in a number of key areas. President and Chief Executive Officer Arjun Mirdha opened the celebration.

“Our ceremony today is all about you, the loyal staff who make it possible for JCB to grow and prosper.  As we close out our best year in North America, it is important we celebrate as a team. I want to personally thank each and every one of you for the positive contributions you make and for the sense of urgency that you exhibit daily that drives our success.”

JCB years of service awards were the first presented. Those who have been with the company for five years, followed by 10, 15, 25 and 45-year veterans of the company were acknowledged for their long-term commitment to the organization.

Following the years of service awards, ten individual awards were presented by senior staff members for: Best Apprentice, Best Kaizan, Best Mentor, People Champion, Best Sales Professional, Customer Focus, Best Team, Outstanding Contribution, Safety and the coveted Spirit of JCB Award. All award winners were peer nominated.

“We are fortunate to have an unrivaled depth of talent within our organization,” states Mirdha. “Peer nominations make a significant statement about the level of respect these recipients have earned from fellow employees.”

Each award winner received a trophy in recognition of their efforts from Mirdha, were congratulated individually by senior staff members, then had their photograph taken in front of a JCB Skid Steer loader manufactured onsite at the company’s Savannah, GA based US Headquarters.
