JCB Lakeside 5 Race
The JCB Lakeside 5 is back, the 5-mile race will once again take place around the iconic JCB World HQ in Rocester, Staffordshire, taking place on Thursday 9th July 2026, coinciding with the 2-mile fun run.
It’s open to all JCB employees and members of the public - the terrain is road and surfaced paths and some, but not all, will be closed to traffic. The event will be chip timed, and marshals will be on all junctions. First aid and water stations will be provided along with bottled water at the finish.
The registration desk will be open from 5.30pm and will close promptly at 7pm. Please arrive as early as possible to avoid delays.
Parking is provided on site and there will be adequate changing and toilet facilities. Timing tag/number collection and parking will be on the JCB sports ground. Bring the family along to cheer you on - spectators are very welcome. Refreshments and snacks available.

All profits from the JCB Lakeside 5 and Fun Run – which has been staged since 1983 - will be donated to The Queens Reading Room.
