Smiths Gloucester - Press Release - Image 1

Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd has purchased the JCB 370X - the biggest and most powerful model in the JCB X Series range with the ability to move 4.5 tonnes more material per litre of fuel than competitive models.

Supplied by Holt JCB, the new 370X tracked excavator joins an extensive range of JCB equipment in the company’s fleet, including JCB backhoe loaders, Loadall telescopic handlers, mini and midi excavators, compaction rollers, site dumpers, Teletruks, tracked excavators and wheeled loading shovels.

“We choose JCB equipment because of the excellent support and service we receive. Having a good relationship with our dealer Holt JCB is invaluable. We have been buying JCB machines from them for over 40 years. The speed and consistency of the service is something that really makes the difference for us. We currently operate a number of JCB X Series machines which we use on our own civils projects and the new 370X will be put to use on our more heavy-duty tasks. Our operators like the X Series for the power, comfort and durability. We had a demo 370X last year and it was the perfect fit for our fleet - it’s really strong and productive which is perfect for our needs.”
