The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children’s charity and every year it helps to keep over a million children safer through its work with schools, national helplines, and specialist centres.
Over the last 40 years JCB has donated over £5 million to the NSPCC which has been raised through a variety of charity events including bike rides, lotteries, concerts, raffles, and a host of other sponsored events.
JCB, over the next two years, is committed to raising £2 million pounds for the NSPCC by launching the 40 year anniversary JCB/NSPCC appeal.
Made by Apprentices: The JCB 525-60E Loadall
Apprentice NSPCC Loadall
A team of 36 apprentices combined their engineering skills to build a unique machine which raised thousands of pounds for the NSPCC.
- The NSPCC apprentice loadall was auctioned in aid of the NSPCC and raised tens of thousands of pounds.
- The bespoke NSPCC paintjob on this unique machine was designed by apprentices and included all of their handprints in the NSPCC's signature shade of green, adding a personal touch to a project which meant a lot to both the apprentices and the NSPCC.
- Not only was this apprentice-built loadall a philanthropic gesture to the NSPCC, it was also a fully electric machine, not only displaying the brilliance of our apprentices, but the genius and forward-thinking that JCB champion when it comes to sustainable solutions.
