Does higher horsepower always mean better performance?
Not necessarily. Two machines with similar horsepower ratings may perform very differently depending on torque delivery, hydraulic efficiency, traction and machine design.
Why does torque matter for hydraulic attachments?
Hydraulic attachments require steady torque delivery. Strong torque helps compact equipment maintain hydraulic flow and pressure when operating demanding tools like augers, mulchers, breakers and cold planers.
Is torque more important than horsepower in compact equipment?
In many compact equipment applications, yes. Torque is often more important because it determines how effectively a machine can push, lift and maintain performance under load at working speeds.

How long does the entire process take?
Our hiring process at JCB, Inc. is very hands on. During the process you will meet various individuals that may include but is not limited to the Hiring Manager, strategic business partners and upper management including some of our Executive Team Members. Typically, from beginning to end our process can take up to a few weeks however, we do try and work with your schedule and timelines.
When can I expect a call back?
Our goal is to touch base with all individuals who apply for open opportunities at JCB, Inc. However, due to the volume of applications we receive for some of our opportunities it is not possible for us to reach out to every individual.
What happens once my resume is submitted?
All applications are reviewed by our recruiting team. Individuals who meet our specified qualifications and experience will be contacted by a team member to begin the interview process.
