JCB’s single-arm boom leaves one side of the machine open, allowing the cab to be accessed through a side door. Instead of climbing over a bucket, forks or another front attachment to enter and exit, operators can step into and out of the cab from the side. This can be especially useful for operators who enter and exit the machine repeatedly throughout the workday.

Standard JCB machines are built to operate reliably in temperatures as low as approximately -4°F (-20°C), depending on model and configuration.
