The San Antonio facility will produce key JCB products for the North American market, including Loadall telescopic handlers, scissor lifts and boom lifts. Additional products may also be introduced as production at the facility expands.

We are currently preparing the San Antonio facility for fall 2026. Production will ramp as the facility becomes fully operational.

We will be hiring for a broad range of positions as the San Antonio facility comes online, including manufacturing and production roles, engineering and technical positions, quality, maintenance, logistics, and other operational and support functions.

Yes. At approximately 1 million square feet, the San Antonio facility will be JCB’s largest manufacturing site in North America and its second-largest factory globally, behind the company’s headquarters and manufacturing complex in Rocester, England.

The facility is expected to support approximately 1,500 jobs over the next five years. But the San Antonio site is designed to be more than a manufacturing facility. Plans include tennis courts, outdoor gathering spaces and a working cattle ranch, creating a distinctive environment for employees and the surrounding community.

San Antonio offers a location with access to a strong workforce, proximity to key suppliers and customers, and an established manufacturing and logistics infrastructure. Our new facility strengthens JCB’s ability to serve customers across North America while supporting the continued growth in the region.

Yes. Machines built in Texas will be sold and supported through JCB’s standard North American dealer network, just like JCB equipment produced at the company’s other facilities. Customers can continue to work with their local JCB dealer rather than purchasing directly from the factory.
