The JCB 504-13 Loadall subcompact telescopic handler is named by Equipment Today magazine among the Top 50 New Contractor’s Products of 2019. The award recognizes the 504-13 Loadall as one of the most interesting new earthmoving and construction equipment products of the year, determined by construction equipment users.

The 504-13 Loadall subcompact telescopic handler was launched in March 2019 in response to growing demand in North America for telehandlers in the sub-6,000 lb category. With a 4,000 lb lift capacity and maximum lift height of 13 feet 3 inches, the new JCB 504-13 telehandler is well suited to maintenance applications, job site clean-up and material handling within confined worksites.

“JCB pioneered the telehandler category more than 40 years ago and today we’re the biggest selling brand in North America and around the world,” said Rebecca Yates, product manager for material handlers at JCB North America. “And with our compact telehandler business up by about 30 percent this year, we’re excited by the potential for this subcompact model given the strong customer interest and the attention it’s received from Equipment World readers.”

The new 504-13 telehandler builds on the design and capability characteristics of the company’s earlier JCB 520-40 Loadall, with the addition of a new 39 hp Perkins Tier 4 Final-compliant diesel engine. Other features include:

• All-steel bodywork

• Permanent 4-wheel steering for enhanced maneuverability

• Low boom profile for exceptional visibility, enabling improved productivity and safety

• Compact tool carrier or skid steer coupler to accommodate a wide array of attachments

• Two-speed hydrostatic transmission

• Two-year/2,000-hour warranty
