The JCB range of Loadall telescopic handlers has received the 2018 EquipmentWatch Highest Retained Value Award in the lift truck and telehandler category. The award recognizes JCB telehandlers as having higher retained values for the past five years than competing telehandler brands and material handling products.

“Retained value is a critical measuring stick for equipment buyers, dealers and fleet managers throughout North America that speaks to each machine’s historic performance and value,” said Garrett Schemmel, vice president, EquipmentWatch.

JCB offers 14 Loadall telehandler models for the construction and rental industries in North America—seven tool carriers (TC) and seven lift-and-place machines—with lift capacities ranging from 5,500 lb to 14,000 lb and lift heights from 20 feet to 66 feet.

“Because JCB makes all of the major components in its telescopic handlers, from the engine to the driveline, and the cab to the boom, customers trust JCB telehandlers for great reliability and lower operating costs,” said Rebecca Yates, material handling product manager for JCB North America. “And when it comes time to upgrade their fleet, JCB owners know their initial investment is better preserved by higher resale values.”

JCB pioneered the telescopic handler in 1977 and is the world’s leading manufacturer, with more than 450,000 units sold worldwide. In additional to being among the safest and most comfortable telehandlers on the market, JCB Loadalls require no diesel particulate filter or productivity-sapping engine regeneration, and many require no diesel engine fluid (DEF), thereby reducing operating costs and maintence requirements and improving machine uptime.
