JCB will exhibit its world-leading agricultural machines at the 2018 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, from February 14-17. The JCB booth (#4996) will feature two JCB Fastracs, the world’s fastest production tractor, and several models of JCB’s world-leading agricultural telehandlers. The company will also exhibit several of its wheel loading shovels and articulated telescopic handlers. Another highlight will be the skid steer and compact track loader machines, including the Teleskid, which lifts higher, reaches further and digs deeper than any skid steer on the market.

Visitors to the JCB booth will also have the opportunity to enter JCB’s “Win a Teleskid” sweepstakes, to win a 12-month lease on a new Teleskid compact track loader.

“We invite farmers from all over North America to ‘Discover the JCB Difference’, to see how JCB agricultural machines have helped farmers be more productive and more profitable for more than 70 years,” said Ray Bingley, general manager for JCB Agriculture in North America. “JCB invented the backhoe loader, the Loadall agricultural telehandler, the Fastrac full-suspension tractor, and the skid steer loader with side-door entry. The latest JCB Agriculture innovation is the Teleskid, which allows farmers to perform tasks that are impossible with a conventional skid steer.”

The JCB Teleskid is the world’s only skid steer and compact track loader with a telescopic boom, allowing operators to lift above 13 feet, reach forward 8 feet and dig 3 feet below grade. It is also the only skid steer to combine the advantages of vertical and radial lift capabilities in a single machine. The Teleskid is equipped with a 55 kW (74 hp) JCB EcoMAX engine, requiring no diesel particulate filter (DPF) or diesel engine fluid (DEF). Available wheeled and tracked models offer rated operating capacities of 3,208 lb (1,455 kg)  and 3,695 lb (1,676 kg), respectively. For more information, visit teleskid.jcb.com.

Also at the show, JCB will celebrate the recent 40th anniversary of its Loadall agricultural telescopic handler. The company will have three models on its booth, including a 541-70 model in special 40th anniversary livery. JCB has sold more than 220,000 Loadall telehandlers, and telehandler output today is at its highest level ever as more primary producers realize the value of using telehandlers in place of tractor-mounted hydraulic loaders for stacking bales, shoveling grain and general materials handling around the farm.
