It has been brought to our attention that certain unknown persons/agencies/individuals are sending out false job offers via e-mails, web portals, communications (“offers”) and are purporting to be from JCB India Limited (“JCB India”), or other JCB group entities like JCB Industries Private Limited and/or its parent company, J.C. Bamford Excavators Limited (“JCB UK”).
These unknown persons/agencies/individuals ask the recipient to appear for an interview for job openings with JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries Private Limited/JCB UK. Recipients are also asked to deposit a certain amount as a refundable interview security in cash or in a designated bank account.
We wish to bring to the attention of public/job seekers that these offers are falsely stated to be from JCB India/JCB UK. Please note that JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK have not sent out any such offers. JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK, as a policy, do not collect any money as a pre-employment requirement. JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK bear no responsibility for amounts being deposited/withdrawn therefrom in response to such offers.
It has come to our notice that these people are using the name, trademark and logo of JCB India/ other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK with a view to tarnish the image and reputation of JCB.
We wish to caution the general public that JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK have neither appointed nor authorised any person/agency/individual to issue any such offers/recruitment nor has authorised any person/agency/individual, whatsoever, to collect any information and/or ask for any payment/cash deposit to be made to JCB India/other JCB group entities like JCB Industries/JCB UK.
