The JCB 527-58 telescopic handler features a two-speed hydrostatic transmission combined with mechanical drive on both axles and a track-in-track steering mode, providing excellent maneuverability and maneuverability. For superior manoeuvrability, the JCB 527-58 Loadall uses a dedicated hydraulic motor for each wheel and features four-wheel steering.

A one-piece, gas-strut-supported hood provides convenient and safe access; a radiator grille and reversible fan prevent debris from entering; a hinged radiator block and a level floor with drainage channels ensure easy cleaning and tidying of the cab; and most service intervals, including boom lubrication, are 500 hours.
- The monolithic welded chassis design of JCB Loadall loaders ensures maximum strength with minimal weight. Hoses are routed internally to protect against damage, and the headlights fold away. The use of a U-shaped boom with a one-piece boom head and boom, as well as a one-piece boom plate, reduces the number of joints and stress points.
