HOW IS THE ELECTRIC-POWERED EXCAVATOR CHARGED?
- There are three charging options for the ultimate flexibility - 110V, 230V and 415V. This means you can get to full charge in as little as 2 hours.
- Thanks to the 19C-1E's four battery pack, you can work for full day's shift on one charge.
- Never face unexpected power loss with low battery alerts on the instrument panel.
- The battery is designed to last the operating life of the machine - the equivalent of up to 3,000 charge cycles.
HOW DOES THE JCB ELECTRIC MINI EXCAVATOR WORK?
Once charged, the electric mini digger works just as its diesel counterpart does. You'll experience the same structure. canopy, dig end, hydraulics, and controls - with no tethers, unsafe trailing cables or extractors.
The new hydraulic system allows for smoother, more accurate operation, even for less experienced operators - increasing productivity on your site.

HOW TO OPERATE THE ELECTRIC MINI EXCAVATOR
We've made it as simple as possible to start up your JCB 19C-1E electric mini excavator, which includes our unique 2GO system - making it the safest on the market.
Step 1: Turn on the battery isolator in the rear of the machine
Step 2: Raise the left-hand arm rest
Step 3: Climb into the cab using the 3-point contact
Step 4: Engage seatbelt
Step 5: Turn the key on to position 1
Step 6: Disarm the immobiliser if fitted
Step 7: Start the machine by turning and holding the key in position 3. The blue motor run light will illuminate
Step 8: Check all the warning lights have gone off
Step 9: Lower the left-hand armrest
Step 10: Press 2GO to activate the hydraulics
Step 11: Using the rotary dial, select one of three digging modes: low, general or high
Step 12: Operate the machine

The universal fast charge unit on the 19C-1E offers three charging options:
110V, 16A industrial cable
- 10.5 hours to 20-80% charge
- 16 hours 30 minutes to 0-100% charge
- Offered in 4.2m length or 8m length
230V 16A industrial cable / domestic cable
- 5 hours to 20-80% charge
- 8 hours 30 minutes to 0-100% charge
- Offered in 4.2m length or 8m length
415V
- 2.5 hours to full charge
- Offered in 4.2m length or 8m length
