JCB introduced Backhoe Loaders in India close to four decades ago and has since expanded its product range to over 50 different models in eight product categories. With 3,50,000 JCB Backhoe Loader being sold in India, JCB has been empowering local ambitions and paving the way for growth, excellence and everything in between.
From the proud JCB wali Aunty (Smt Ramilaben Patel who is the only woman in her village to run a successful business with a JCB) to the exemplary JCB village (Hanakanhal in Andhra Pradesh which is home to over 150 machines), every story is aligned with self-reliance, perseverance and success.
With a dense network of 700+ dealer outlets and over 5000 trained service engineers across the country, JCB has been able to establish a pan India network and its Customer Support reaches wherever the customers are.
JCB also offers a 16-week detailed induction program at the welding training school at the Jaipur facility for ITI and Diploma graduates. Comprehensive skills developed through these programmes have helped young men and women excel in their careers.

The Lady Bamford Charitable Trust has been helping people from the most disadvantaged quarters access a better quality of life. Since 2001, it has supported the quality of education within schools; provided skills and training to help prepare pupils for life after school; helped communities revive traditional crafts; set up self-help groups within rural communities and more. The Trust has followed an organic and consistent growth with a focus on disadvantaged communities around JCB factories in India. Today, its outreach extends to 56 Government schools and nine vocational training centres through which it reaches out to about 12,500 students and trainees.
Built exclusively to preserve and promote the craft of handwoven textiles, Nila House was founded in 2016. At present, it houses a series of open studios, collection showrooms, an exhibition gallery, textiles vault and artists-in-residence rooms.
Always looking for a better way to celebrate the cultural and social ambitions of India, JCB established the JCB Literature Prize in 2018 to enhance the literary achievement in India and create greater visibility for contemporary Indian writing.

JCB India has always focussed on empowering the communities with employment and business opportunities. With a network of more than 60 dealers and 650 outlets spread throughout India who further employ 6,000 professionally trained personnel, JCB has always ensured an inclusive growth. These far-reaching outlets provide the vital product support to customers for their equipment. Five strategically set up warehouses at Pune, Chennai, Faridabad, Guwahati and Kolkata support these dealerships and outlets for parts supplies.
JCB India has also built and supported an indigenized supply chain for the manufacturing of its products. Over 380 world-class Indian suppliers are aligned to JCB’s Group objectives and have grown along with JCB through various development initiatives.
JCB Operator Groups
Constantly driving our business operations forward, JCB Operators are not just our boots on the ground but also an important part of the business eco-system. We, at JCB India, are always focused on upskilling and training of operators.
Through its 15 Operator Training Centres in India, JCB is creating employment and entrepreneurship amongst the youth. Under its training programme, JCB provides a one-month certified course on machine operations and maintenance, which includes both, classroom and practical training on how to operate JCB machines safely and productively. The training process includes mentoring, coaching and field training to ensure all-round professional development.
