Fastrac - Snow Plough

The JCB High Mobility Fastrac (HMF) is a hugely flexible universal logistics machine. It can haul over 24 tonnes at 88kph (55mph), with over 1 tonne of ancillary equipment (fuel or water tanks, pallets, ULCs etc.) on the rear deck.

Designed to work effectively with a wide range of attachments including backhoes, cranes and blades, the HMF’s high speed also makes it ideal for tasks like clearing snow from runways, store yards and depots.

The Fastrac is unique in offering full front and rear suspension for unparalleled ride, comfort and traction. Perfect 50-50 weight distribution and ABS brakes come as standard for controlled and safe travel too, so it can tow sensitive loads like munitions or aircraft. 4-wheel drive with differential lock provides excellent off-road performance.

Features

  • High travel speeds up to 80kph
  • All-round suspension for ultimate comfort
  • Truck standard twin caliper air braking system with ABS
  • Spacious two man cab
APPLICATION

The JCB HMF is designed for productivity, boasting high levels of operator comfort, ergonomics and durability. It’s available with a wide range of optional extras to tailor its performance. These include non-standard tyre inflation systems, additional guards and operator protection, additional storage for specialist equipment and electrical/climatic protection.

The cab is fully air-conditioned, comfortable and ergonomic, with 24-volt systems. The HMF can be adapted to cope with -40°C temperatures and is available in a variety of specialist paint options. Convoy and blackout lighting is available, with lifting points, tie-down points and reduced height cabs for excellent transportability.

PERFORMANCE

We’ve used only proven components and technologies in the HMF’s manufacture for strong, reliable performance. To give you an idea, we’ve used a fully welded Z-section chassis to prevent driveline stresses without increasing weight.

External disc brakes offer excellent heat dissipation and far greater performance than the oil-immersed systems found on conventional tractors, while JCB tractors’ unique full chassis construction is designed for strength, stability and load carrying ability.
