  • The side mounted JCB engine combined with JCB axles and transmission, ensure reliable drive train performance from well proven components.
  • Instant steering selection between all wheel steer, front wheel steer and crab steer modes ensures ease of operation, whilst a tight turn radius of 4.1 metres gives greater manoeuvrability.
  • Forward reach of 9.25 metres, lift capacity 4 tonnes, maximum lift height of 13.8 metres and lift capacity of 1.25 tonnes at full reach, all improve productive capability.
  • The 540-140 comes with heavy-duty stabilisers as standard. These ensure safe placement of heavy loads to full height. Chassis levelling is an option on this machine, giving improved load ratings when stabilisers are not used and easier transportation of bulky loads on uneven ground.
  • Engine options include 84.5hp (64kW), 100hp (74.2kW) or 125hp (93kW).
