Machines involved in handling
Aggregates:
Aggregate recycling is becoming common practice on
many demolition sites and within skip hire. The JCB
range of tracked excavators offers an option for every
throughput requirement, from the smaller 5 to 6-tonne
midi excavators for mini mobile crushers, to larger
20-, 33- and 46-tonne models for tougher applications.
Using either buckets or selector grabs, these machines
can easily rehandle aggregates and feed them into
crushers and screeners. They can all also be fitted with
JCB breakers to aid the pre-sizing of material before it
is put through the crushers.
Whether you are operating one of our smaller midi
excavators or a full-size machine, you will find no
compromise on in-cab environment. All cabs are
spacious with excellent visibility for safety on site.
Operation is effortless with servo-assisted controls
reducing fatigue and maximising productivity.
For tight, congested sites, the JCB zero tail swing design
eliminates the risk of contact damage of the upper
structure with crushers or skips when slewing, allowing
the operator to concentrate on the task of rehandling.
The crushed and screened aggregate can then be
stockpiled and loaded with a JCB wheeled loader into
one of our well-matched articulated dump trucks.
The range of JCB wheeled loaders varies from
0.4 cubic metres to over 3.5 cubic metres.
Wheeled loader cabs are well appointed and offer
superb visibility for the operator combined with a very
comfortable operating position. Tyre options protect
against the risk of punctures and additional guarding
to the underbelly, lighting and cab areas ensure
maximum protection.
JCB articulated dump trucks range in size from the
14-tonne 714 to the 22-tonne 722. These go anywhere
six speed haulers offer limited slip differentials and well
appointed spacious cabs complete with air conditioning
and an air suspension seat as standard.
