Funding from the Staffordshire-based digger giant has enabled Stone Dominoes Under 10s to buy full team training kit and fleeces as they prepare for their second competitive league season, which starts on September 9th.
Matt Gilbert, an engine test and development technician at JCB Power Systems, whose son Caleb plays for the team, said: “The team has been together for 12 months now, and has a good mixture of experienced players and those who are new to playing in a team. They had a great first season and participated in two tournaments. The first was just a few weeks after the team was created, the boys were still getting to know each other yet did fantastically well considering the experience as a team."
