FC HANLEY YOUTH SQUAD IN A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN WITH NEW JCB KIT

FC Hanley Under 18s News

A Stoke-On-Trent football team kicked off the new season in fine form – celebrating their first home match by unveiling new JCB sponsored kit.

FC Hanley Under 18s took to the pitch at Potteries Park, Abbey Lane, with the new kit thanks to a £500 donation from the Staffordshire-based digger giant.

The team, which plays in the North Staffs Youth League, has links with JCB through its Assistant Manager, Simon Yorke, who works at JCB Heavy Products, Beamhurst, Uttoxeter.

The team is delighted with the new kit. The lads are proud to wear the JCB shirts and keen to do justice to the company’s support. Last year they were runners-up in the County Cup final and this year they hope to go one better.

A JCB spokesman said: “It is great to help organisations which really matter to our employees. Simon is a fantastic example of what dedicated individuals can do to make a real difference to raising young people’s aspirations and we are delighted to support his team in this way.”
