Machines involved in handling
Green Waste:
Rehandling incoming raw green waste is typically the
beginning of any composting operation. With excellent
reach and lift capabilities, Wastemaster wheeled loaders
and Loadalls are ideally suited to this task.
Both machine ranges are highly manoeuvrable, with
either articulated or four-wheel steering designs.
Operator visibility is unparalleled resulting in safe
operation on site, the cab and controls are ergonomically
designed to reduce operator fatigue and maximise
productivity, and appointments, such as suspension
seats and air conditioning, make for a very comfortable
environment.
All models are protected by belly, light and cab guards,
while tyre options are available to reduce the risk of
punctures and additional air filtration for both engine
and cab protects against the often-dusty environment.
Attachments such as buckets with top grabs aid the
retention of this loose material and offer excellent
capacity per pass. A quickhitch enables easy attachment
changing, increasing machine versatility and utilisation
on site; a loader one minute, then quickly converted to
a forklift and at the end of the day, a sweeper to keep
the yard tidy.
A good alternative to these machines is the 360° wheeled
excavator. Fitted with a selector grab, any model in the
range is effective for stockpiling or loading. Plus, fixed or
hydraulically raised cabs offer unrivalled visibility for
loading shredders and increasing overall site safety.
For smaller or mobile operations, the skid steer or
compact Loadall range can also be fitted with a fork
and top grab attachment to aid loading of smaller
mobile shredders. Lift capacities of up to 2.7 tonnes
and lift height capabilities of over 5 metres offer
excellent performance from these compact,
manoeuvrable machines.
