Machines involved in handling
Plastics:
Plastics come in all shapes, sizes and types and so does
our range of handling solutions for this industry. Whether
for drinks bottles, detergent containers, car bumpers,
baled or loose material, there is a Wastemaster option
to suit your particular application.
The JCB skid steer is an ideal compact machine for
loading plastics from underneath hand pick sorting
gantries. Highly manoeuvrable, it can easily move sorted
material to the baling machine or floor conveyor, plus
an assortment of attachments is available increasing
the versatility of the machine; it could be loading one
minute, sweeping the floor the next. Operator safety
is ensured with side access to and from the machine.
The JCB Teletruk, with its unique telescopic loading arm,
allows you to load/unload bales from one side of a truck.
A host of attachments can be fitted, including forks,
buckets, bale clamps and a 360° rotator, ideal for tipping
stillages full of plastics. The JCB Teletruk is not just
another forklift but a true and very effective materials
handler that is hugely popular with the plastics
recycling industry.
JCB Loadalls or wheeled loading shovels are an
alternative for higher capacity applications. The four-wheel
steer technology of the Loadall range ensures
excellent manoeuvrability, even in the tightest of spaces.
Lift capabilities from 2 to 4 tonnes cope with any
expected demands and, combined with lift height
capabilities from 4 to 17 metres, there is nothing
Loadalls cannot loadover.
If you prefer traditional articulated steering design, a JCB
wheeled loader is ideal. Loader capacities vary from 1 to
5 cubic metres combined with loadover capabilities up
to 5 metres.
Finally, combining the articulated steering of the wheeled
loader with the central telescopic loading arm of the
Loadall concept is the TM310 Telemaster; another
excellent choice thanks to its loadover capability of
over 5 metres and lift capacity of over 3 tonnes.
